JAK THE LAD are a no nonsense 5-piece Bournemouth / Poole based rock covers band that are rapidly regaining their reputation for providing a rollicking good night out with their mix of competent musicianship and obvious enjoyment of playing to live audiences.

JAK THE LAD was originally founded in 1989, and was a regular feature at local music venues during the late 1980's and 1990's.
JAK THE LAD reformed with a revised line-up late in 2003, and staged their first comeback gig at Mr. Kyps in Poole at a private function in December that year.

Since reforming, JAK THE LAD have played a number of sold-out headline shows and well received support slots at Mr. Kyps.  The band have now become a regular and much sought after act at a number of the South Coast's live music venues.  JAK THE LAD are also receiving strong demand from private individuals, companies and sports clubs for their unique blend of live music and fun.
