Martin H. - Bass Guitar & Backing Vocals

JAK THE LAD are pleased to welcome Martin H. to the band.  Martin has been filling in for Geoff over several months, and given that Geoff is currently unable to commit full-time to the band, we have asked Martin to join us on a permanent basis.

Martin joins the band with many years of live performance experience.  He is an accomplished bass player, guitarist and singer with more than 30 years experience. His presence has really added strength to the JAK THE LAD line-up.  Martin has played with many major acts over the years including shows with members of ELO, The Move, and US blues Maestro Eugene "Hideaway" Bridges who many blues guitar officionados regard as the natural successor to the legendary Mr. B.B. King.

When not playing shows with JTL, Martin gigs at public and private functions, with his most excellent covers band "The Usual Suspects" and tours with professional Elvis and Meat Loaf tribute bands.

Martin lives in Bournemouth, hasn't got a lot of hair (hence the dodgy bandannas when he gigs) and is married to the lovely Sheila.
